Is Oxycontin 60 Mg The Right Medicine For Severe Pain?

Hello, I have been on morphine 60mg for 6 months and didn t think it was helping my pain as much as it should so my pain Dr. Put me on OxyContin 60mg, I tried one tonight and still having pain. Can you please tell me what I m suppose to be feeling?thanks

OxyContin contains 'oxycodone', which is an opioid pain medication. It is used to treat moderate to severe pain that is expected to last for an extended period of time.
Hence, what doctor has prescribed seems to be right and you should get relief from pain by taking it.
In case it doesn't happen, you need to consult your doctor and use a different composition drug to overcome the pain.
