Is Progesterone Is Required In All Cases Of Twins Pregnancy?

I m 27 years old and I am 17 weeks pregnant with twins, my doctor prescribed Primolut Depot Injection for me as precaution to prevent miscarrige or premature delivery although I have no negative signs like spotting or infection and the size of the cevix is normal, do you think taking progesterone is required in all cases of twins pregnancy? Hi,
Progesterone is not compulsory in all pregnancies. Its just a added supplement to help in sustaining the pregnancy. There is no harm. Though oral or vaginal tablets are used more commonly. It also is more useful until the first trimester.
