Is TSH Value Of 3.69 During Pregnancy A Cause For Concern?
Dear Sir, I want to know about TSH in pregnency. My wife is 8 weeks pregnant & her tsh level is 3.69 ( we have also done that three months before when she was not pregnant and at that time the TSH value was same. ) Kindly guide us in this regard. Does she require any medication.

Hi, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. If the TSH level is mor e than 3.5 in first trimester of pregnancy, then thyroid hormone supplementation should be started.
