Is Tramamdol Considered A Narcotic?

Is Tramadol considered a narcotic? If not, why would someone steal it? I am prescribed Tramadol 50mg HCL, 2x every 6 hrs., and recently someone I trusted stole my medication, so now I have nothing and I am a bit nervous to call my doctor for more, at the risk of seeming as if I am seeking drugs, but I really only need them for exactly the dose prescribed. I am scared that I may withdraw, but I don t have any options. Urgent Care was kind enough to call in a bridge amount but I have six days until my prescription is covered and I am genuinely scared, and in pain, and humiliated because I need to ask for help. What should I do?

Tramadol is an opioid and it has addictive potential. You can call it as narcotic and I have seen patients addicted to it. Probably some addict would have stolen your prescription drugs. I would recommend you to report the same to the concerning authorities and request for refill from the pharmacy.
Hope the above information helps you. Thanks.
