Hello,

Safety of alcohol consumption with Tylenol depends upon the dosage. It needs careful monitoring.

Drinking in moderation and taking Tylenol within the recommended dose can help minimize your risk of liver damage.

The risk of severe liver damage from alcohol and Tylenol increases as the amounts of each substance in your body increases. Liver damage can also occur if you drink too frequently, even when using recommended doses of Tylenol for the recommended amount of time.

As per your history, you seem to have taken two tablets of Tylenol (one gram) which are said to be within the range of recommended doses.

Therefore, there's nothing to worry about, however, if you develop symptoms of right upper abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, sweating, or yellowish discoloration of the skin or the whites of your eyes, you should go to the hospital immediately as these symptoms are indicative of liver damage.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Mohammed Taher Ali
