i am 27 yrs old from fast 6months am getting pain on my righh of my head, on upside of my right eye and right side of neck and shoulder, and recently i been to a doctor he suggested valprol cr 500mg and elivel 10mg, i read somewhere on internet that these medicinse suggets to treat eclipsy patients.but i am not having eclipsy.can i use those medicine?
I don't know Elivel. Do you possibly mean Elavil (amytriptiline)? It's true Valprol is used for epilepsy but it's also widely used in the prophylactic treatment of chronic headache so you shouldn't be surprised your doctor prescribed it to you. If the other drug is Elavil (amytriptiline), it is also widely used for prophylactic treatment of chronic headaches, but as an alternative to Valprol, so while both are valid treatments I wouldn't start both at the same time. If it's not amytriptiline then ignore this last paragraph.
