Is A Child Likely To Develop A Bald Spot?

My 4 yr old son fell at kroger a month or two ago. There was no cut just a large knot. Tonight my husband was cutting his hair with clippers and noticed he has a bald spot in the same area, will it grow back? Is this something we should worry about or have checked out?
