Is A Dark Red Swelling Inside Lower Thighs A Cause For Concern?

Hi, suddenly I very quickly developed a dark red swelling inside my lower thighs with around 2.5 inches mainly on one side but on the other as well. Cortisone cream appears to bring the swelling down but there is a lot of heat. Should I see a emergency doctor?

Thanks for seeking help on your issue; I have gone through your symptoms, and in my opinion, this could be infective lesion and although the cream will reduce it once it can increase in further, kindly consult a skin doctor today
