Is A Head Bump After Head Injury A Matter Of Concern?

Hi i was just wondering ..i got hit in the side of the head about 3 years ago and never went to thr doctor but i did get a huge bump and i did bleed ..i was watching a tv show and said that some blows to the head can be deadly..should i be very concerned.i still have a big bump it dosent hurt or anything

Since it has been 3 years it certainly is not life threatening. And even if they are life threatening usually no correlation with superficial bumps, the danger lies in the brain which is inside the skull, even if injured produces no bumps.
I still think that you should have a look by a doctor at that bump since it is persistent, perhaps an ultrasound to check its content, but certainly not a medical emergency.
