Is A Large Pulsing Blood Vessel In My Right Temple Related To Ear Discomfort?

I am a 45 year old female and had a mid face lift about a year and a half ago. Since then, I have had some discomfort in front of my right ear - sort of a throbbing sensation. Over the past few weeks, I have noticed a large, pulsing blood vessel in my right temple. Is it related? What can be done about it?

Hi,

You should check your blood pressure as high blood pressure can lead to such a presentation. You can rule out Vasculitis through ESR estimation. It's advisable to investigate with CBC as well.

You should consult a nearby physician for detailed evaluation. According to cause specific treatment given.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
