Is Alcohol Consumption Advisable While On Keflex?

Question: i have a friend who is on keflex. Can she drink alcohol while on this drug? YYYY@YYYY . My friend had a major infection in her hip joint which was removed then ultimately replaced after it was determined that the infection was under control

Hi,

Keflex is a safe antibiotic most of the times and does not cause any big interaction with alcohol. If taken in moderate amount, alcohol won't make any big difference. Hopefully, it would be safe.
