I was taking 500mg Metronidazole for an abscess, i have now stoped taking them and will be going to a family party 44hours after stoping taking them and would like to drink alcohol. I hear the half life of Metronidazole is 8 hours so after 5.5 half life cycles is this save to drink, i know everyone says 48 hours but family members i see once a decade will be there and i wish to enjoy it ao need a good drink.
