Is An ER Visit Advisable For A Child With A Cut On The Eyelid?
HEllo my 6 year old son hit his eye on a table. He got a cut on his outer part of the eyelid. It’s righ at the crease of the eyelid. Should I take him in to ER to get it looked at or will it be okay. It’s not bleeding a lot. It’s not very deep but did open up top thin layer of the skin. He says it’s not to painful.
Well come to HCM Thank for asking Your concern being appreciated, such injury of the face particularly near eye should not be taken as granted or taken lightly but it has to be taken seriously I would suggest to see the surgeon, at least for cosmetic reason wound may need stiches again it need to be ruled for bony injury, hope this information helps.
