Is An Injection Or Tablet Better In Terms Of Birth Control?

I'm 16 and I just found out I have hyperthyroid. I may have graves disease, my aunt had it and had surgery. I have an appointment with a gynocologist that we made months ago. I'm going to ask about birth control. Can I take the pill or the shot if i may have graves?

The treatment is usually with pills such as Propylthiouracil or methimazole. The three treatment options are radioiodine therapy, medications, and thyroid surgery.
