Is Anti Rabies Vaccination Necessary?

Hello! This is my situation, My brother was attacked by our own dog on his head, near the parietal area. I have checked the area myself and there were no cuts at all. I have only noticed a slight swelling on the area. Our dog is up to date with his shots. The thing is, 2 days after, my brother developed fever and headache. I am not sure if it is because of the attack or just a coincedence with the bad weather that we have right now. Should we have him vaccinated or not necessarily and we will just observe some more? So far, i haven t seen anything unusual with regards to our dogs behavior. Thank you so much. i hope I ll get a response.

As per the latest guidelines, the vaccination is must even if the dog is protected, esp the first 3 shots. Consut your physician for correct schedule.
