Is Atrial Fibrillation One Of The Symptoms Of Menopause?
HI, I ve had heart palpitions since 2008, at that time I was sure it was caused by peri menopause . Went for ekg, wore a holster monitor and had an echocardiogram. Everything came back normal. Have experienced them since then, now going through menopause . Went to er 2015, test show I have PACs. Had another echo done- normal, wore a holter monitor again, showed I have A-fib. I am 52 years old, can this still be caused by menopause. Thanks M
A general health check-up is recommended, all screening test should be done along with the required Imaging investigations and blood tests to rule out any pathology causing discomfort. Follow a healthy lifestyle, exercise, avoid addictions if any, eat boiled homemade food, fruits and veggies avoid junk food.
