Is Bacigyl 10ml Dosage Advisable For Stomach Pain In Infants?
Hi, my daughter is 7 years old weight is 25 kg, she is having stomach pain and headache and fever >102 , gave cyclopam but still pain is there ,I called my Dr. she told to give her bacigyl 200mg but it is not avaiable near by I got 100mg so can I give 10 ml instead of 5ml?

Your daughter is suffering from acute gastrointestinal tract infection. For it antibiotic of choice is norfloxacin ( brand name = bacigyl ).For 25 kg dose is 100 mg twice a day.So you are right in giving her bacigyl syrup 10 ml twice a day.
