Hello,

Usually blood in stools is not related to TB. It might be associated with secondary hemorrhoids, colitis, proctitis, anal fissure, drugs induced (maybe anti-TB treatment), or others.

Your brother has TB or not in real has to be correlated with detailed history, all the symptoms with clinical examination, data evaluation of laboratory, radiology, and others. Just peripancreatic lymph node does not suffice the confirmation or elimination of tuberculosis.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel
