Is Blood In Stools While Having Constant Bleeding Hemorrhoids Serious?

I had a colonoscopy 2 years ago that was clean and told that I didn t need to come back for 10 years. He did say I had hemorrhoids. Today my gyn found blood in my stool and said I needed more testing even though I told her my hemorrhoids bleed all the time. Should I be concerned?
