Is Bright Red Blood In Stool A Symptom Of Colon Cancer?

I have had bright red blood in my stool three days in a row. No pain in stomach or rectum and I can go fairly easy because I take a stool softener. I think I might have a possible hemoroid problem, but my Mother died from colon cancer at age fifty two. I ll be sixty five in June and my last colonoscopy was about five or six years ago. Your thoughts...

The blood in stools its not always cancer symptoms.but of course due to your family history of cancer you should have colonoscopy and other blood tests how your doctor will prescribe in your case.
