Is Chest Discomfort Upon Having A Meal Related To Digestion?

I have had some discomfort in my chest for the last three days. At times after eating a meal, my heart rate will increase. Discomfort does not increase with physical activity. I am wondering if it could be related to indigestion or something digestive related.

Hi,

The chest discomfort upon having a meal related to food intake is definitely related to stomach, intestine, liver or gallbladder issue.

Primary guidelines here to proceed till you get consulting with your doctor for further care
- consume small frequent meals
- avoid fatty, oily stuffs
- keep stomach empty by 25% of satiety value
- regular walking, exercises
- control of body weight, blood sugar and cholesterol
- avoid sleeping for a period of 2 hours after lunch or dinner
- avoid smoking or alcohol if consuming.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
