Is Constant Crying After Shots Followed By A Nap In An Infant Normal?
Wanted to ask about my 2 month baby who just received his first shots. After about an hour after his nap, he woke up crying and screaming. Has not stopped, unless he falls asleep. No fever or swelling at site of shot. Gave him a small dose of tylenol for babies. Is this normal?

Excess cry is common after DPT vaccine , give him/her 6 hourly paracetamol . you need to be caution if baby is not feeding , lethargic, flaccid, continuous high fever, inconsolable cry persisting .If baby is feeding well, in between excessive cry it will resolve in 48 hours .
