Is Consultation Required If An Incontinence Insert Was Stuck Inside?

I am embarrassed to have to ask this but...I forgot about poise incontinence insert and it got pushed up in me and was there for a about a week . I noticed some discharge but wasn t much so I didn t think about it. My boyfriend gave me oral sex which is how I remembered it and now gas an awful taste in his mouth. The er said I didn t need antibiotics nut should ye go to a doctor?
