Is Consulting A Doctor Necessary If A Child Is Suffering From Very High Fever, Cold And Cough?

Hi,
my baby is 18 months old with 12.5 kg wt.since yesterday she is hvng fever n cough.I hv gvn ibugesic 3.5 ml 2 times.bt in night she got fever at 101.5 I hv given maftol 5 ml.till me I hv nt given anything for cold n cough.plz suggest shall I visit doc?

Thanks for your query.
Give paracetamol in case fever is above 100F.
In case fever continues to be on higher side after 48hours get him examined by doctor to look for any focus of infection.
Give plenty of fluids.
