Is Consumption Of Rubbing Alcohol By A Child A Cause For Concern?

My son accidentally got a hold of the rubbing alcohol. I don t think he s consumed anything, and we called emergency when it happened about an hour and a half ago. They gave me a list of symptoms to look out for, but said his heart sounded strong and his breathing was good, but he threw up about 5 minutes ago without any other symptoms. He doesn t seem lethargic or upset in any way. Should I call emergency back or do you think he s fine?

Hi....as you have already visited the emergency room and the kid has been checked and you have been reassured, I don't think you need to worry about it. I suggest that you keep checking for the red flag signs or danger signs which have been explained to you. As the kid is his normal self now, I don't see any need to get back to the emergency room.
