Is Continuing Soltaril Twice A Day Safe While Having Steady Pulse And No Atrial Fib?

I am on Soltaril 80 mg twice a day and my pulse is steady at 40 . I am not dizzy or lightheaded. Is this ok to continue with the medicine or should I see if the medicine should be reduced. Have not had any atrial fib in over ayear being on the medicine

I am concerned that your pulse is so low. It could be from the medicine. You could also have another type of rhythm disturbance that is slowing your heart rate. Even though you are feeling okay, you need to see your doctor and get a new EKG to see if other problems have developed. Your doctor can then decide whether it would be helpful to reduce the dose. Do not stop it or reduce it without talking to your doctor first. Hope this answers your query. If you have further questions, I would be happy to answer them.
