Hi welcome to the health care magic

You are having acute tonsilitis infection

Your work up done as follow...
-Posterior pharynx examination and lymph node palpation
-Auscultation
-CBC
-Throat swab and culture

According to culture report or according to CBC report antibiotic if needed started...

You given steroid because posterior pharynx edema severe and leading difficult swallowing...
Steroid useful in relieving inflammation
So if needed betamethasone steroid course 0.5 mg given for five days...

Salt water gargle done three times a day

Take one tsp turmeric powder with milk daily

Vitamin C lozenges useful

Take care

Consult physician or otorhinolaryngologist for examination with keeping all this in mind
