General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Persistent cough is not a symptom of peri-menopause. Further evaluation to rule out respiratory issues like allergy, asthma, etc should be ruled out. Follow up with your primary provider for further evaluation.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Lekshmi Rita Venugopal, General & Family Physician
