Is Difficulty In Speaking And Opening Of Eyes Sign Of Dementia?
Hi, my Nana lives in Florida with my aunt and over the past few days she has told us she can not speak, refuses to open her eyes, will not eat, is going to the bathroom all over helself, claims her body feels cold will not walk, will not sleep etc....she does have dementia ....my aunt says these issues are from the disease and is not taking her to the dr. is that true are they symptoms of dementia?
I am sorry to hear about your Nana and her change in her behavior. From your description this sounds very much like progression of her dementia but could also be a result of other conditions like urinary tract infection. I would recommend that your nana be seen by a doctor to determine if this change is not caused by a reversible cause.
Hope this answers your question. If you have any inquiries please contact us so we can help.
