Is Discomfort In Buttocks And Low Menstrual Flow Sign Of Pregnancy?

I am experiencing aches all done my right side from my right buttock down to my heal. I do suffer with hemmoroids and was wondering if its possible for them to be pressing on a nerve and causing this discomfort. It feels almost like a chill but only from my right buttock all down my right leg and into my heal. I am also trying to conceive and have a few early pregnancy symptoms although its prob too early to test, however my last period was very short (2 days when its normally 5), so maybe this is conected?

Hi there, I have understood your concern. I will suggest you the best possible treatment options.


1 ) First of all do not panic.

2 ) As you might be aware that the very first and important sign of pregnancy is a missing period.
So I will suggest you to wait till the expected date of the cycle. If you happen to cross your dates, then please get morning's first sample of urine tested for pregnancy.

In case of doubt blood beta HCG test and USG will be of help.

3 ) Your symptoms can be due to an alternative piles or due to a condition of sciatic nerve - called as sciatica.

4 ) It is unusual to get pregnancy symptoms before you miss your periods.
