Is Dizziness A Common Trait With Hypertension And Upper Respiratory Infection?

i have hypertension(usually 150/90) and recurrent upper respiratory infection i.e. cold making me dizzy, lack of energy and depressed all day.This has been for past 5 years.The doctor after doing all tests declared it as primary hypertension.At the same time cold keeps troubling me. Help !!

If you are having recurrent infections then it is likely related to impaired immunity. Your immune system should be able to prevent frequent infections, it would not be related to your hypertension.

You may want to have a full blood count done to look at the level of your white blood count. The white blood cells are responsible for fighting infections.

In addition you may also want to increase the use of foods with anti oxidants, vitamins and mineral to boost your immunity.
