Is Duphaston Safe After The Egg Has Ruptured?

Hi I want to know today is my 17th day and my doctor has prescribed me to take Duphaston 10mg for 15 days and in my follicular scan on 16th day my reports show that the egg has ruptured. I want to know whether it will be safe now. My age is 29 years and weight is 62 kgs and height 5'2.

Duphastone is indicated for multiple purposes , I am describing them so you will understand very well:
Recurrent miscarriage
Endometriosis
Menstrual disorder
Threatened abortion
Infertility
Endometrial protection during menopausal replacement therapy
Dose is usually 10 mg once or twice in day depending on the type of disease and condition of patient .
Now about your question as you mentioned follicle ruptured on 16th day , if you got pregnancy this is very good drug as mentioned above it will prevent miscarriage , used in threatened abortion , infertility .
So take this drug as prescribed by your doctor.
