Is Dysentery With Greenish Mucous A Side Effect Of Taking Wysolone In A Patient Suffering From Kidney Failure?

my brother is 11 years old went kidney failure detected from 3rd december 2013. aftr prolonged illnes and less urine output he had become serious & went with hemodialysis simultaneously 12-14 times. In b/w water intake was high & due to penetration in lungs he suffred frm severe breathelessness & evn was kept in ventilator . now his urine output is double the intake he takes in. Doctor has prescribed wysolone 10 mg 2 times a day for 4 weeks. he has got dysentry with mucus & greenish toilet. Is this a side effect of wysolone?

No..Wysolone doesn't cause greenish diarrhea. It could be due to disturbed gut microbials organisms or due to sepsis or due to opportunistic infections when we use Wysolone like medications. stool for culture and ova probably solves your issue. Best of luck.
