Is Eltroxin Safe For A Diabetic When Having Swelling At Umbilicus?

I m 29years God I with previous 1 LSCS 2 and half years back.develpoed umbalical hernia after 1st LSCS.now I m 35 weeks with swelling at umbilicus. All normal parameters.no h/o any HTN/DM/major illnesses.parents diabetic.recently I 1 week back I detected for thyroid positive with T4 12.5 borderline ..my gyne advised me eltroxine 25 mg to start. .is it safe to start at this point where I have only 5 weeks left..or no need to start please advise me.

I think its a good decision to start in order to avoid pre eclampsia. after your delivery repeat T4 and decide based on the endocrinologist opinion.
