Hi, I m 56 been thru menapause and have suffered with hot flashes and night sweats for over 10 years. Recently I ve noticed that ONCE a month its like I have a surge and I start sweating really bad (during the day) and then after about a week it settles way down almost stopping. What is this and is it normal.Thank you.
This is a normal change in postmenopausal women due to the hormonal changes in the body. You can increase your fluid intake and stay calm during these days to help with the symptoms.
