Is Fenofibrate 160 Mg And Tricor 145 Mg Same?

My doctor tried me on TriCor 145 MG in 2009. I remember I couldn't take it because of muscle pain. Today he gave me a precription for Fenofibrate 160 MG. I guess he didn't realize he had already tried me on TriCor. Aren't these 2 medications the same?

hi,
yes, both are same. you may develop same kind of side effects with this new drug also. He has probably overlooked the past history as it is longtime ago. please visit him and tell him the problem.
