Is Fibroids Causing Pain In My Tail Bone?

for about a month now, my tailbone has been hurting. it s worse when getting up from sitting. also lower back pain as well. I know I have a little bit of arthritis in my low back. This past January , my OB-GYN told me I should have a hysterectomy because I have fibroids. Could this be the pain I m feeling now?

Hello,

It is not related to fibroids. The symptoms are more likely suggestive of conditions like coccalgia.

As first line management, you can take analgesics like paracetamol or aceclofenac for pain relief.

If symptoms persist better to consult an orthopaedician and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
