Is Flying Safe When Suffering From Breathing Difficulty?

Thank you. I am 72 female- my lung doctor about a month ago prescribe oxygen at night when I sleep and have been doing it. I will be flying in two weeks, is it okay? It is a short flight - from take off to landing is one hour - we are actually in the air about 20 minutes. Thanks

Psychiatrist 's  Response
from your complaints of above it suggets that you have a respiratory problem that need you to use high oxygen during sleep at night.
well, during flight the oxygen content in the plane is normal so no worries there, I would suggest you to my to sleep during flight. Therefore, there is no such reson I can find here that prevents you from flying.
suggestions are-
do not sleep while on plane,
carry your medical records and medicine while on plane.
Ni need to be worried, medical assistance is these to tackle any issues if needed.
To be in safer side I would advice you to consult your treating doctor before.
