Is Folitrax And Saaz Effective In Treating Arthiritis?

my age is 71 years and just in last 3 months my right knee has strted paining as per the x ray report sign of airthirites has started and I am leading very active life style, pls advise me that the following medicine prescribed by my dr, are correct and good.Folitrax 2.5 mg SAAZ DS TAB acoss 200mg

No, I do not think these medicines should be given in your case. I would suggest you to get some blood test like ESR, crp and Ra factor. If these test are positive then you should take above mentioned medicines . But if these tests are not positive then there is no need of taking these medicines as these are made for rheumatoid arthritis and what symptoms you have described me are not suggestive of this. In rheumatoid multiple joints are involved and it occurs at very early age like 20 to 40.
