Is Frequent Fall, Pain And Soreness Normal After Knee Replacement Surgery?

Hi my name is Dawn and back on December 2, 2013 I had a left total knee replacement. It has been 9 months now but my question is this. I am falling down a lot without knowing until it happens. I am always in pain, very sore and achy. Is this normal or is there something else going on? I am in fear of falling and I cannot walk for long periods because if I do, I fall.

After going through your query I concluded that you have got total knee replacement surgery for your knee . After that you have got increased incidence of fall. Yes it may be related to knee replacement surgery. Because after knee replacement cruciate ligament are lost leading to loss of proprioception. Proprioceptive tell about position of limb.
