Is Frequent Feeling Of Urination Related To Abdominal Hysterectomy?

I would like to inquire about the frequent feeling of needing to urinate one month post total abdominal hysterectomy. Obviously due to fluid retention post surgery there was legitimate need and frequency of urination. Should I be concerned this has continued with little actual quantities of urine?

Hi my dear,

You need to get checked by your physician together with running some other tests including:
- urine analysis
- vaginal swab testing
- abdominal ultrasound

to exclude any possible underlying infection.

Furthermore, medications you might be using can be a cause to frequent urination. Measuring your blood sugar is also advised.

All the best!
