Is Gastroparesis Related To Cardiomyopathy Or Carnitor?

My daughter was diagnosed with cardiomyopathy with a carnitene deficiency when she was born. She is now 15 and has taken carnitor since she was born. She now has been diagnosed with gastroparesis. Could that be related in any way to her heart problems or the carnitor she has taken since birth?

Hello
Thank you for trusting HCM

Dear Carnitine deficiency may be a cause of GI dysmotility, with recurrent episodes of abdominal pain and diarrhea . Please consult your doctor if gastroparesis is severe.
