Is Getting Hit On The Lower Back An Upper Left Buttocks Harmful?

Hi Doctor. I fell down in the bathroom and it caused me to hit my lower back and the upper left buttocks. I fell pass a tap, so the tap caused a scratch mark there. Do I need a scan done? Or is there any cause for worry? The pain is not severe. It feels like a bruise pain.

Thanks for posting your query to HCM.
After going through your history, there is no need for scan at present as pain is not severe and you have not mentioned anything regarding swelling.
For the bruise you can apply any antiseptic cream and take a mild pain killer like ibuprofen 400 2 times a day for relief from pain.
If pain persists for 5-7 days or increases or you see a swelling, consult an orthopedic doctor for proper examination and scan if needed.
Hope my answer will help you.
