Is Giddiness And Sleepiness Side Effects Of Gestone 200mg?

Hello Doctor, I am married for 5 years and TTC for an year. My doc says everything is normal with me and my husband. I am put on Gestone 200mg for first time this month. I feel giddiness and sleepy after taking this. Are ther any sideeffects of this tablet. Thanks.

Hello,

Gestone is progesterone and usually does not cause dizziness or sleepiness. Please be advised to take a home pregnancy test to rule out pregnancy. Your symptoms may also be due to any short term issues like viral fever. If the symptoms persist, follow up with primary provider.
