Is Giving Kaptin Syrup For An Infant Having Loose Stools And What Could Be The Dosage?
Sir my ten month son has watery stool for a week now an some times it is thick we gave him two days of metrolog but we cannot see any change is it adviseable to give him kaptin syrup if yes than for how many days an how much ml doses v shud give him please reply .thanks

Kaptin syrup usually not advised in children less than three years of age.
If watery stools are not controlled by metrolog you can consult your pediatrician for alternative medication.
Till then give child regular feeding and probiotics like econorm sachet mixed in water , these will decrease symptoms.
