hi I'm 43 years old M, my sugar level is Fasting 169.2mg/dl after food 207mgdl, I taking glycomet GP-1 , 1tab before breakfast and 1tab before dinner , can you suggest this medicine is suitable for us , or I change other medicine or increase dosage. to fully control my diabties
I read your question very carefully and I can help you. Glycomet GP-1 is a good antidiabetic medicine for Diabetes type 2. This medicine reduces glucose production in liver. However, your glycemic level is high. You can use Glycemic Gp-1, but I recommend to my patients to use an additional medicine, such as Maninil (Glibenclamidi) 5mg 1/2 pill a day. The dosage is dependent on glycemic level.
You should also reduce carbohydrates amount in your diet.
Dear I read your scenario you should take tablet Beguinides (Metformine) with Sulphinylurease Like Glipezide or Glipenclemide In combination. You should check your fasting and random blood sugar level on weekly basis.you should do regular exercise. You should be very careful about your diet. If you have any problem regarding this issue you can ask me other wise you should go to near doctor thanks for asking.
