Hello Trulicity is composed of 'Dulaglutide', which is a glucagon-like peptide 1 receptor agonist (GLP-1 agonist). GLP-1 is a hormone that is involved in the normalization of level of glucose in blood (glycemia). Most common side effects encountered with its use include gastrointestinal disorders namely dyspepsia, decreased appetite, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain and diarrhea. Serious adverse reactions include acute pancreatitis, hypoglycemia and renal impairment. It is not known to cause hair loss as side effect. Kindly consult Dermatologist in this regard for clinical evaluation and appropriate management. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
