Is Having Shoulder Pain Radiating Towards The Arm Symptom Of Pancoast Syndrome?
I am a little scared because I just read about Pancoasts syndrome and too much of the symptoms sound like something I have been dealing with for years. I would have a massage, go to the chiropractor, take a hot bath, meds, nothing really helped. Luckily I have an appointment with my doctor the first week in January. My mom was a heavy smoker and I worked in restaurants when smoking was ok. My pain is definitely in the shoulder area, and radiates down the underside of my arm. Sometimes it feels like I have a golf ball under my arm although I can t really put my finger on any pain. When driving and sleeping my arm goes to sleep. Anyway, I have never done this before so just wanted your opinion. Thanks Carla

Is Having Shoulder Pain Radiating Towards The Arm Symptom Of Pancoast Syndrome?
Hi, It is not a symptom of Pancoast syndrome. It might be due to musculoskeletal causes. As the first line of management, you can take analgesics like Aceclofenac or Tramadol for pain relief. If symptoms persist better to consult an orthopedician and plan for an MRI scan. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
