Well Hello there and welcome to HCM

First of all let me assure you that Head Injuries due to direct trauma to head has some sequel of events from mild-moderate to Severe i.e Headache, dizziness, nausea, vomiting, drowsiness , Dec .vision/hearing/fits even loss of consciousness etc.

What you're experiencing is probably a concussion injury(when the brain inside the skull gut shaken due to a sudden blow to the head)

Don't worry if your feeling a bit dizzie as you might just pass-out for a while - so the answer is yes ,you can go to sleep but make sure there should not be any other alarming signs like sudden and vicious headache/vomiting /sudden weakness of any of the body parts/abnormal jerky movements/loss of vsion/hearing etc.(no need to panic though these are just some alarming features which generally doesn't not present in a mild traumatic brain injury)

Keep yourself refrained from any strenuous activity/avoid driving / operating heavy machinery etc. This should get better within a few days but in case of any worsening or appearance of any of the alarming features stated above , do check in to your nearest ER at the erliest and get a CT-Scan of the head done

Let me know in your further follow-ups how you stay

Once again thanks a lot for contacting HCM
