Is Heavy Bleeding Normal Post Medical Abortion?
My wife was 30-35 days pregnent we chek it and result show positive then we use unwanted kit for medical termination of pregnancy..she take 1 mifepristone Tab on one day before then yesterday night eat 2 tab of misoprostol.Nw today morning bleeding will start but bleeding is very havy and when she gone for urine then 2 big thick blood pices are comes....plz suggest me that symptoms is normal or something dangerous and plz tell us how take another 2 misoprostol tab..

Following taking abortion pill or unwanted kit, mild bleeding may continue for 7-10 days. However, if heavy bleeding continues more than 3 days, we need to rule out INCOMPLETE abortion or placental tissue, retained bits inside the uterine cavity.
Here, you need to undergo one pelvic USG scan to check and confirm that. In such case, D & C is required after consultation with gynecologist. Don't take extra pill without clinical assessment. It may cause ill-health effect.
Maintain genital hygiene. Good luck.

It seems you have taken the doses of medicines Mifepristone and Misoprostol as per the prescribed schedule and in correct dosages. For termination of pregnancy under 49 days, only 400 microgram dose is sufficient. Usually the abortion is complete within 1-3 days without any alarming bleeding.
If she has passed big clots, please note whether there are any white tissue debris passed along with. They suggest the products of conception have passed. Also please assess the amount of blood lost. 1 gram of clot equals 3 ml of blood.
If she is bleeding heavily, she should report to the Obstetrician ASAP as she may require surgical intervention to evacuate the bladder. Delay may lead to excessive blood loss requiring blood transfusion.
Consuming the remaining 2 tablets of Misoprostol will help minimizing the blood loss. Let her take them immediately; however do not delay reporting to the Obstetrician.
